Privacy Policy
The control and processing of the Personal Data of Platform Users are the sole responsibility of the Platform Administrators, who delegate the processing of such data to IBLISS for the purpose of providing the Platform Services.
IBLISS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all Platform Users. IBLISS does not sell, rent, exchange, or otherwise provide the personal information of Users or of the Company or Organization to which they belong.
IBLISS uses the User information provided by the Platform Administrators and supplemented by the Users themselves to enable, facilitate, optimize, and enhance the User experience when using the Platform Services.
Information Collected
The Platform collects different types of User information for the purpose of providing its services.
Personal Information: The minimum information required to create a User account includes the User’s First Name, Last Name, and Email Address.
In certain circumstances, additional personal information may be required, such as a personal or employee identification number, country of residence, work or home address, and/or telephone number, for the purpose of providing the contracted Services.
All such Personal Data is managed and controlled by the Platform Administrators.
Employment Information: User profiles may be supplemented with employment-related information such as Job Title, Supervisor or Manager, Department or Area, and other information related to the User’s employment activity.
This information may be completed by the User or by the Platform Administrator.
Content and Usage Data: Data generated through the use of the Platform, such as the pages and content accessed by a User, the actions performed, and the time at which the User accesses the Platform, may be used by IBLISS to provide usage statistics to the Platform Administrators.
Device Information: Certain details regarding the devices used to access the Platform, such as brand, model, operating system, location, and IP address, may be collected to ensure the proper provision of services to the User.
If access to the User’s location is required for a geolocation-based service, the corresponding authorization will be requested.
Use of Information
The Information Collected by the Platform will be used by IBLISS to provide, maintain, and improve the Services offered. Examples include:
- Verifying a User’s identity and registering a new User.
- Contacting the User regarding the use or consumption of the Platform Services.
- Monitoring the use, availability, and security of the Platform.
- Collecting usage statistics for the Platform Administrators.
- Improving the User experience and developing new features and content.
Information Sharing
The Information Collected by the Platform is shared with the Platform Administrator Users, who retain control over such information.
It may also be shared with third parties under certain circumstances, including:
- Service providers that perform functions and provide services as data subprocessors, with whom IBLISS maintains specific privacy provisions.
- Third parties, such as providers of applications, products, content, and integrations available on the Platform, for the purpose of providing a particular service. In such cases, those third parties may receive and process Personal Data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
- For legal purposes, as described later in this Policy.
Access, Modification, Deactivation, and Deletion of Personal Data
Users may access all their Personal Data through their profile in the “My Account” section of the Platform, where they may immediately modify and correct such information.
If data editing is not available, Users must request the modification from the Platform Administrators.
Platform Administrators also have access to the tools required to export all User Personal Data in a standard format for transfer purposes.
If a User wishes to stop using their account, they must request its deactivation and/or permanent deletion from the Platform Administrators.
In all cases involving the modification, deactivation, or deletion of Personal Data, IBLISS may retain such data in backup copies for up to 90 days. However, during that period, the data will no longer be available on the Platform.
Cookies and Session Storage
Cookies are small data files that a website sends to a User’s browser. These files are stored on the User’s device and contain certain User information.
Session cookies are temporary data files used to improve the browsing experience and are deleted when the browser is closed or the device is turned off.
Persistent cookies, by contrast, are used to retain information previously provided by the User, such as website preferences, and remain stored on the User’s device until they are deleted.
To operate properly, the Platform may use session cookies and other similar technologies that make it possible to identify activities performed by Users during their session.
Under no circumstances are these technologies used to collect and store Users’ Personal Data.
Users who do not wish to receive or retain cookies on their devices may configure their browser accordingly. For further information on how to do so, please consult the Help section of the relevant browser.
The Platform may also passively collect and use the following information during a User’s session to ensure proper operation and provide usage statistics to the Platform Administrator:
- Browser Information: Name and version of the web browser used.
- Device Information: Device name and model, operating system, MAC address (Media Access Control), screen resolution, and language.
- Connection Information: Connection type and IP address.
Communications
The User agrees to receive email messages and mobile notifications sent through the Platform, including updates from the Company’s private social network and other content related to the use and benefit of the various solutions and applications available on the Company’s Platform.
Users may choose not to receive such communications or may modify their delivery frequency through their profile preferences.
Limitations
Although User privacy is a priority, IBLISS cannot withhold information when doing so would constitute a violation of the law.
IBLISS reserves the right to disclose Users’ personal information when required by law, legal proceedings, or court orders.
Consent
By accepting the Platform Terms and Conditions, IBLISS Users consent to the collection and storage of personal information, including email addresses, in our database.
Users also consent to the use of such information in the form of aggregated, non-personalized reports that make it possible to understand User browsing habits.
Rules Applicable Exclusively According to Territory
Users Residing in Colombia – Personal Data Protection
In compliance with Law 1581 of 2012, Regulatory Decree 1377 of 2013, and any other regulations applicable to the Personal Data Processing Regime in Colombia, Users are hereby informed that all Personal Data collected and incorporated into this portal will be processed, stored, used, and managed online in accordance with the purpose of the Platform and the Personal Data Processing Policy of the Contracting Company.
The Contracting Company provides all Users with the opportunity to exercise their rights of inquiry and complaint regarding their Personal Data by submitting a request directly to the Contracting Company, in its capacity as the controller responsible for such Personal Data.
Accordingly, by clicking, you provide your prior, express, and informed consent and authorization for the processing of your Personal Data within this Platform.
